CRICKET
Cricket is currently our lead sport thanks to a partnership with Uganda Cricket Association to run the Nile Basin Hub, in effect putting East Enders in charge of the game in Busoga Region.
With the partnership, we have been able to see cricket get introduced to rural areas of Busoga giving kids a chance to play the game.
The Hub has already received big assignments from Uganda Cricket Association among them being the organizing the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour of Jinja, Mini Cricket Tournaments for kids under 13, the Schools National Boys Cricket Week and Batball X tournament among others.
We applied to the Jinja Golf Club to use part of the idle land to construct a cricket oval as a home for East Enders in Partnership with the club.
