East Enders Cricket Foundation have been the trusted organizers of two back-to-back national boys cricket week tournaments, 2023 and 2024. The two tournaments, sponsored by Skyview and Uganda Cricket Association, have both been won by Jinja Senior Secondary School.
“To us it is an endorsement that we are doing something good,” says the East Enders team leader, Isaac Imaka. “We will continue inviting the country and the world to Jinja for anything cricket.
Cricket week brings together cricket playing secondary schools to compete for seven days. It’s a tournament that gives youngsters a chance to showcase their talents and full potential.
“We pray that even the 2025 tournament is brought to Jinja. It is the most ideal venue given that it is accessible and has all the amenities one would need,” Isaac said.
